Came across this video on Youtube. It could be that some Rors are descendants of inter-marriage between Marathas and the local Haryanvi people or outright descendants of Marathas.

No not at all. It's because of the prestige of the Marathas among Hindus that some Rors associate themselves with the Maratha identity. There was no intermixing, even local intermixing is rare let alone intermixing with very far away Marathas.
