LOL - he was born in Nepal - he became the Buddha in Bodh Gaya, India. Simply because Mother Teresa was born in Albania, doesn't mean she is not Indian. And it is moot anyways, because the Buddha pre-dates the existence of the modern nation state.
Alas, history mustn't be taught in your deck of the woods.
Steal Pakistani history? Which history is stolen?
If he was born in Nepal, that makes him Nepalese.
If you want to use the pre-nation argument, then he still doesn't belong to Hindustan.
Mother Teresa was Albanian, not Hindustani. She also had a terrible track record of abusing children so it's no wonder you look up to her along with Gandhi.
You really want me to go there? Indus Valley Civilisation, Gandhara, Porus, Panini, Kanishka, Akbar, Shah Jahan, etc. Your very country is named after our river. It's just ridiculous.
