To add to that, Cobra gunships have been provided by the US for COIN operations. But if hostilities with India break out, they and every other piece of equipment that can be used in a conventional war, regardless of whether it was provided by the US for COIN purposes, will be used against India if the units issued that equipment are redeployed to the Indian border/LOC. ^^Pakistan can not use military aid for WOT against India. A PA unit rotated at Indian border with US military equipment received in aid for WOT will be India's concern. It effects India's parity and arms balance we are suppose to maintain.

Indians are not mind readers, even if PA intentions are not India centric vis a vis using US aid for WOT, the revelations made by many from US and Musharaf prompted India to react. It wasn't India who invented this idea but few other in US and Musharaf et al.

If America think India is her strategic partner and expects support on WOT then its between India and USA to share concerns. Pakistan is running WOT on USA's call not the opposite. If what Musharaf revealed is the natural course of things with the supply of weapons provided by USA in aid then India will object USA (not Pakistan)on this.

Piss on USA if she is listening to us and improvising on aid supply and making sure it will not be used against India, Pakistan is an ally not benefactor BTW.

I hope this will make things clear for few typical free hand India basher Pakistani posters. Have some guts and talk to US, they are the one asking/concerned for better audit of the aid every time. India is not bothering you on this but US.

Pakistan will always end up using US equipment against India, as like in the past.

The Money Pakistan gets, is for services the PA provides to US for coalition troops. We can do whatever we want with that money.

Not really, since it deals with the US-Pak relationship. It is the US that would be primarily concerned about 'aid diversion to the Eastern Front', for which there is no evidence, unlike the claims made by the Indian defence minister. But then lying and speaking half-truths is pretty standard business for the Indian politicians and media - how else can they brainwash Indians into hating Pakistan and deflect from their domestic failures.

If Pakistan was objecting to US weapons sales to India, then your argument would be more apt.

It is really depressing to see Mods passing such generalized comments on a whole nation just for some political and diplomatic drama enacted here. If by reading such statements the whole nation could be brainwashed then the whole world gets to hear such statements at some point from their national leaders. I don't want to do the usual act of showing the mirror as that achieves nothing but i would like to remind that it was my country's people who actively participate in the Aman ki Aasha process being reciprocated too.

So please think before passing such comments because people are not idiots to be swayed by the politicians statements so blindly as u state them to be in my country.

Terrorism in Pakistan is very much India linked and we should be able to give them a firm reply in case of escalated tensions. This is where the aid comes to play and the Indians are simply doing their ritual rona dhona watching their future potential of surgical strikes diminish with a strong standing Pakistan army.
