India vs Pakistan vs Bangladesh : GDP Per Capita (1971-2021)

.
of what? everyone laments the gaping disparity between the haves and the have nots.

people are struggling for basic necessities. suicide rates have risen up.

you won't see one Pakistani here ignoring the problems faced by society and country.

i don't care how many zeroes any Tata or Wadia families have added in India.

Tata and Wadia are helping the country .

Pakistan's economy became stagnant the same year US invaded Afghanistan, is it just a coincidence?
if Taliban can work hard to stabilize afgan. Pak will grow rapidly. they have good infrastructure,,,

fifth largest population and large percentage of young people and growing. middle class will continue to grow.

@El Sidd as a reply I wrote a decent sized post of Junaid Akram explaining the cultural/economic difference of coastal Pakistanis vs Midland/northern Paksitanis that explained your views through that lens but deleted it lol
This thread is destined to go the wrong way

Quite strange, especially BD vs Pak:

BD sells 4K new cars per year; Pak sells 300K cars per year

BD consumes 150K bpd of petrol; Pak consumes 1m bpd (official) + a huge amount unofficially via Iran

BD professional builders produce 10K housing units (only 60-70% can be sold); Pak builds 300K units (folks are put in allocation as demand is more than supply)

Corona has pushed 40% of the BD folks below poverty line (back to yr 2000 level); Pak economy is heating up during Corona

BAF last purchased 8 Mig-29s in 1999; PAF adds a squadron a year

So you realize you can easily google all of these figures right?

Where did you find 300,000 car sales? Pakistan's housing units are made in suburban sprawl style. Look at all of the biggest real estate projects all are just one suburban sprawl that are auto centric. NYC has much lower automobile ownership than most cities in the US. Is the average NYC resident poorer than the average person from Detroit? (45% car ownership rate vs 75%)
Since when does Bangladesh only make 10,000 housing units per years perhaps you're only looking at the figures for one city. That's not to say its a good thing. Pakistan has a much higher population growth rate with no signs of slowing not to mention its has infamously invested far too much money into real estate instead of actual factories to export things which is why there's such a big trade deficit problem. No offense how is Pakistan's economy heating up when rural food inflation has been close to 15-20% at some points in the middle of the covid pandemic (Most people in pakistan live in rural areas) and the state of malnutrition was already bad? This chart shows the stunting rates from the survey done in 2017-2018. This was before large scale inflation.

I'm not sure whether your account is a elaborate troll given that you posted once about Pakistan being wealthier than Canada per person or how Pakistan is secretly wealthy because only 20% of the economy is documented despite most estimates putting the shadow economy at 30-40% (Which isn't a good thing given that you need tax revenue to actually run and fund the government not to mention this is one of the things the IMF wanted Pakistan to improve on). You realize that there's no shame in poverty. I have no problem admitting Bangladesh is a poor country perhaps you should do the same there's real issues to address instead of hiding them under pseudo nationalism. A true nationalist would admit the issues with his country and not be afraid to admit there are issues to be fixed.
