India vs Bangladesh WC15 Quarter finals :D

.
Yet we defeated them by 130 runs. Didn't break any sweat.

Bangladesh is weaker to face pace. India has no pace. So some chances with India in batting department. BD bowlers can upset India too. India is a known opponent. And some players of BD will try to break their shell by showing talent to get chance in IPL.

My prediction is that in todays game India vs Zimbabwe, Stuart Binny will play for practice.

The India has no pace either your blind or living in stone age
India completely bold out 5 teams in five matches teams like south Africa , West indies, Pakistan below 200 in league matches compare to that BD batting is minuscule:D:D:p:p:p:p

.
Is it possible ????
Yeh...Ireland is a good batting unit...And they will give a good fight with Paksitan to qualify for QF..Because I am sure WI will try its everything to demolish UAE...

BD took Indian relatively young team too lightly in that match. Who thought Mohit sharma and Binny will stuck so hard. Today BD faced two of the great bowler of this tournament Boult and Southie. So good practice there. And if BD used Murtaza we could win the match with NZ too. One of our best batsman Anamul is missing, his substitute Imrul isnt potent enough. So BD team has become 10 man team. Also another pacer Al Amin sent back home. BD should play carefully Shami and Ashwin with decent score. Rest of the job will be done by Murtaza, Taskin and Shakib.

First some stats:-
Bangladesh scores 36.63 runs per wicket (pretty good, better than half of the teams playing this WC) whereas India scores 50.26 runs per wicket (second highest just below Sri Lanka). Bangladesh takes wicket after every 37.83 runs while India takes wicket every 18.88 runs ( again second just below NZ). But these stats are average of this WC after all what matters is the ground.

The ground in which you scored 288 runs against the top bowling attack has an average of around 41 runs per wicket batting first and 43 runs per wicket batting second.

While where QF will be played between India and Bangladesh (most likely) has an average of 51 runs per wicket batting first and 19 runs per wicket batting second. Moreover batting first team has always scored 300+ in WC on this pitch while batting second team never crossed 240. Considering the bowling averages of both teams, if India bat first then India is going to winmost likely, but if Bangladesh bat first then any team can win. So winning toss is most important for Bangladesh.

But its cricket anything is possible :D GL

World Cup: Gavaskar warns India to not take it easy against Bangladesh

Auckland: Terming Bangladesh a dangerous side on current form, former captain Sunil Gavaskar on Friday warned Indian players to not take their eastern neighbours lightly when the two teams meet in the cricket World Cup knock-out stage at the MCG on March 19.

India are certain to top Group B even before playing their final group league match against Zimbabwe on Saturday and they will play Group A fourth-placed side Bangladesh in the quarterfinals in Melbourne.

Gavaskar said Bangladesh, with a bit of luck, can beat any side in the tournament and India can take them lightly only at their own peril.

"India have beaten Bangladesh on many occasions earlier and so the Indians may be confident that they can do the same this time also. But on current form, Bangladesh are a very dangerous side. Not only beating England, they ran very close to New Zealand today (Friday)," Gavaskar said, referring to the Kiwi's three-wicket win over Bangladesh with seven balls to spare in Hamilton.

"In the group league, if you lose one match, you can make a comeback in the next match. But in the knock-out stage, one bad day will send you back home. With a bit of luck, I think on current form Bangladesh are capable of beating any side.

"So, India will do very well not to take Bangladesh lightly," he added.

Talking about the strength of Bangladesh team, Gavaskar said, "They are a very good batting side. Mahmudullah has been in good form. Then there is Shakib, Mushfiqur Rahim and Sabbir Rahman.

"Today against New Zealand, they did not have five regular bowlers due to injury. Despite that they put New Zealand in trouble. With five regular bowlers available, they will do even better," the former India captain told NDTV.

Gavaskar said he does not expect Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni to make any changes in the team against Zimbabwe, despite the side having already made it to the quarterfinals.

"Dhoni himself has said that he will continue with the same winning team unless there is a need for a player or players to take rest. I don't see that Dhoni will make any changes tomorrow against Zimbabwe," said Gavaskar.

He said with the not so big boundaries at the Eden Park, Saturday's match may see many sixes.

"They have changed the pitch which is now in North-South direction from the earlier East-West facing direction. The straight boundaries have become shorter through side boundaries have become longer. So, there is not much change and you can expect more sixes being hit and bowlers may struggle," he said.
