Both sides can benefit, but the US wants something from us and has to understand that India is not the UK, Canada or Australia. Yeah, but I still hope that at least some of the smaller helicopter deals can be sealed during Obamas visit. If they still can't fix it now after Secretary Hagel came to India and Modi went to the US, something bigger could be the issue.

Please read the many books written on the subject by experts like Selig Harrison, Christine Fair etc. A U.S. Government Accountability Office probe suggests widespread fraud in the CSF program to Pakistan and diversion of funds to the Afghan Taliban.

Question: Why is there no transparency and accountability by Pakistan on the CSF being doled out by America? What are they hiding?

What has bribing of warlords and the Afghan Taliban by the U.S. for protecting their convoys got to do with Pakistan misusing billions of dollars of CSF given primarily for fighting the Afghan Taliban? Has it all been accounted for? No! Period! And Pakistan has been stonewalling the issue of audit by the US Audit Dept. Why? No prizes for guessing.

The Afghan Taliban (Haqani) wouldn't have lasted all these years had not Pakistan's Establishment provided it with funds, weapons and sanctuaries. And needless to say, most of these Coalition Support Funds were used for propping up the Afghan Taliban to fight the ISAF. No insurgency can last without external support.
