The main question ... What is the main issue between Pakistan and India for which they have fought wars n have been a bleeding wound since 1947 n pending in UN(ablel)???

Even that issue is solved , their would be no peace between India PAK. ( PAK Gen. also admit that openly) . So their is not use of all this.

Pakistan gets 80% of water and India 20%. It should be 95-5 in favor of Pakistan. Ayub Khan made many blunders, this was one of them. Other being not liberating Kashmir in 62.

It should be India getting 90% and PAK get 10% as per Land mass, Nehru made mistake , as Gandhi family India make mistake after 71. Should have divided Pak also into 3 country.

The first move was silly i.e. by the ambassador, pulling off the gloves is even worse. Aside from that, there is no mention of the Indus treaty being torn up etc.

I never said that your army doesn't want peace, I don't use that logic. Pakistani army would want peace but on its terms alone. I believe it is loath to make the necessary compromises that most sane people believe is necessary to make a workable peace - LC = border etc with other changes like autonomy etc...which was the MMS-Musharraf formula. Kayani backed off, withdrawing his support to the plan soon after Musharraf's exit. Those are facts. As is the fact that Pakistan keeps asking India to talk irrespective of 26/11 etc. You made the point that no one cares. That will always suit the status quo power fine and you are not that, we are.

This was always a tough ask. Nawaz Sharif like the PPP government before it seems to want to back away from Musharraf's formulations with NS wanting to go back to the 1999 agreement. No one in India is interested in revisiting that, consequently there is a huge build up of frustration both at the official level & even at the track 2 level with Pakistan's behavior. It was going to take a big move like Modi's decision to resume FS level talks to get the process started. To attempt & shore up domestic position by meeting with separatists even after being warned of consequences by the Indian FS was probably unnecessarily foolish (or brave, depending on what you prefer) and risks being seen by the Modi government as non-serious. The heating up of the border is hardly likely to have helped. These were FS level talks, Pakistan should have let a round go by to improve the atmospherics, it chose not to & this is the result.
