India to tie up with Iran for Chabahar, its answer to Pak's Gwadar port

Gwadar isn't just for China's entry to the Arabian but also Central Asia (one only has to check out the map).

Anyways .. I still wonder why indians and indian media is so hellbent on whining over gwadar ?

Chabahar serves a distinctively different strategic purpose from Gwadar from an Indian perspective. The only parallel which can be drawn between those two ports is entry into Afghanistan, though it must be conceded that Gwadar would be a more economically viable option over Chabahar for Afghan trade purposes. If Gwadar is opened up to Indian trade, the economic spin offs would be great for both India and Pakistan. Unfortunately politics has blinded both nations to the tons of economic advantages which such a move would result in

if tomorrow Pakistan offer complete access to afghanistan and further,India will abandon this project on immediate notice

anyway what is this?i mean almost every month modi sign something related to chabahar

.
The headlines in the media seems encouraging the hatred in the Asian Nations.

. . .
How is this an answer to Gwadar?
P.S: apart from territory you will also have to bypass our maritime territory (even ever chabahar era operational).
And how far according to you Pakistan's maritime territory extends ?

.
Cool.... Now Afghanistan & India should stop whining about Pakistan not allowing Bhartii trucks in Pakistan and Gawadar port and let Pakistan to focus on developing economic corridor.

Sir, your first line answers the question in second.
But leaving media aside, both India and China are trying to extend their influence in maritime shipping lanes passing through Gulf of Oman. Future Oil and gas traffic critical to India will get affected by control over these lanes, therefore developing ports in Gulf is vital to both nations.
In an ideal world, Iran pakistan India Gas line would've been the best bet for gas supply to India, but with kind of relations existing, it looks difficult.
Also entry to Central Asian region of Kazakhstan and further north West is important and the ports in discussion along with necessary rail and road links will provide exactly that. No wonder both countries are investing heavily in projects.

Not really, IMHO, Chabahar development is more than Afghanistan centric. I guess what we are trying to do is taking into cognizance, that in about a decade or so ,Iraqi and Iran energy (oil and gas) might become more freely available and if gas from central Asian republics too start coming to Irani ports, the port could become a hub of trade and gateway into central Asia.
Owing to Hindukush mountains, there is no other way to enter the region through a direct surface link (road/rail) and hence this port assumes importance in longer run.
& i was wondering if it might be possible in future for a direct rail link between India to Mediterranean sea through Pakistan, Iran, Iraq and further west. This would lead to great prosperity in the entire region.

Its EEZ, you are free to use the sea bed, extract natural resources from there, if any, or produce energy from water and energy, if you have the technology.
What stops India/Iran/Afghanistan from using those water for navigational purposes ?

In fact, the Chabahar-bound ships from India may also use the Karachi port, or it's sea route. That's how maritime navigation works.

This project will go up against $45 billion? Good luck.

Simple Indian media whines over a lot of things they have single handedly managed to damage our reputation in Nepal

Good for iran, let the indians spend their money and see how it goes for them taking things in and out of Afghanistan

There is plenty of business for all Pakistan is linking itself aswell as china and the GCC

We already dont want anything to do with india so iran might as well benefit
