Well depending on whom you're talking to anyone in Bangladesh that is slightly Pro-India or peddles the official narrative on a myriad things is an Indian stooge & anyone who isn't Pro-India or questions the official narrative is on Pakistan's payroll !

East Pakistan was lost in '71 - Perhaps 40 years ago !

We've moved on....whether they have or not isn't something that I can say - Certainly the present Bangladesh Government doesn't seem to otherwise they wouldn't cry about the 'poor us' in perpetuity to gain political mileage !

It happened perhaps 20 years before I was born & we're better off without East Pakistan as it is & I'm sure they are better off without us - West Pakistan too !

It was a mistake in '47 to have a region separated from you by a 1000 miles of hostile territory where you've got nothing in common with each other except a common religion as part of your country with many influential elements of that region opposed to the very idea of Pakistan along with being engaged in parochial provincialism & grave mismanagement of their own & many influential elements of our region being opposed to the very idea of popular democracy on one hand & being embroiled in corruption, nepotism & racism on the other hand - It would never have worked & it didn't !

The only unfortunate thing is that countless many died in realizing this mistake - We killed them & they killed us in a shameless blood-bath where brother turned against brother to slit each other's throats & rape each other's women !

India is working against the sovereignty of BD so blatantly now so that we can now formally declare India as an enemy state, but the problem is, a considerable part of BD populace are subservient or friendly to India under Hasina's leadership because of wrong information and propaganda both by India and Hasina, when majority of Bangladeshis are disgusted by Hasina (aka BAL leader) and Indian's harmful involvement against BD for decades.

IamNotBengali's grandad's a jamaati, my grandads a jaamaat and so is every persons grandad in Bangladesh a jamaati.
