As you wrote, I just watched that doc on youtube again and there is nothing negative about the working conditions but full of marvel. The word "forced" was never mentionned once. It's just formed in your sour grape mind. ;)

They didn't show negative but pictures spoke a lot of things. Chinese also have a habit of censoring bad things.

Infrastructure projects like those Chinese HSR are LONG TERM investments. They have a long payback period.

China invests in HSR. The People enjoy the travel, the efficiency, the companion, the ambiance, the comfort, the food, the accommodation, the cleanliness, the modernization. Our HSR is one of the best in the world!:china:

india makes "profits" on its dirty, smelly, run-down, dangerous, suffocating and lethal railway operations. The people are suffering and dying from it. Just in Bombay alone, 10 people die everyday on the lines.

That's a documentary about Konkan Railway, not a horrifying railway.

Your logic isn't convincing, why only China is building such thing for the future why aren't other country with high per capita incomes.

Chinese infrastructure projects particularly HSR are not a profitable one even in longterm, Chinese are average percapita is 7000$ (ccp fake stats) reality is much less, and their spending is even less.

Where are HSR projects are worth Trillions, atleast in CCP books to show fake stats and GDP.

India do not need infrastructures to cook GDP stats, India is moving to wards HSR but not like Chinese who do it in hurry even though some of the routes do not need them.

Chinese have 100000 km railways and HSR accounts for 10000 or more, .i.e 1/10thof total tracks and remaining tracks run at less 100 km Shitty locomotives, means in 90% of area of people in china travel in shitty trains.

CCP is after GDP growth all these 5 years and so even though ports and HSR's are not needed they will build. From 2011 to 2012 Chinese HSR is in huge losses and crisis. Any way CCP will cover these fact and figures and show to its people that every thing is well and good even though HSR is not affordable in some of the routes.

In India study is going on on several routes to implement HSR , slow and steady wins the race.

Again Chinese do not understand these things, they are facinated by half baked pics of Chinese cheap defense toys and concrete jungles which incurred huge losses in Trillions.

China's percapita income is lower than many African countries. Even in long term Chinese HSR aren't profitable, they are built to achieve GDP growth target just like Ghost cities.
