Accuracy wrt US, Russian and Chinese navigational systems?

Indian IRNSS system is mainly design to agumented IMPROVEMENT of positioning co-ordinate signal recive by GPS and GOLNASS.
In other words it will receive GPS and GOLNASS signal , inhance them and then transmit a more accurate signal to its receiver.
So basically its signal inhancer and Local co-ordinate positioning system.

GLONASS - 4.46—7.38 m depending on NSV (7-8)

GPS -2.00—8.76 m depending on NSV (6-11)

GLONASS + GPS - 2.37—4.65 m depending on NSV (14-19)

GLONASS' accuracy is expected to improve upto 0.6 m or better by 2020.

NSV is navigation space vehicle or you can say sats communicating with receiver.

Above datas are for military grade signals which are encrypted.Civilian signals has lower accuracy.

FOR Civilian Use

GPS - 5-20m

GLONASS-50-70m

Accuracy of IRNSS would be ~7.6m over Indian peninsula and <20m over Indian ocean.

If IRNSS coupled with GLONASS then accuracy would be further increased just like GPS and GLONASS coupling.

Russia has assured India that even in case of Hostility,GLONASS service would be continued for Military uses.

There is no use of IRNSS without covering large area at least the Indian Ocean region which is our Navy's operating zone.
