thanks for the crystal ball gazing. The probability of a conflict with China is much less when compared to a conflict between Israel and Turkey. The stakes are so high that no one wants to take the risk.

The probability of a direct military conflict occuring between China and India is very low.

Indirect diplomatic/economic conflict however, is already taking place.

No doubt about that. For example, China's prowess in manufacturing is now well established. India is the only country demographically placed to supply labour in the foreseeable 4 decades to supplement the decreasing working class as the population of China moves from a majority mid aged population to late 60 age group. India is focusing on making large population educated and helpful. Several battles on the economic front of similar nature are going to unfold in the days to come. Most of them may have China on top but India will always inch closer with a method in the madness.

That's right.

It is best to keep our rivalry "non-violent".

That way, both sides will benefit from the competition.

massing troops in china border is a indian provocation for a future war to force china to attack first.

how much do you know about China or India ? Do you know that the Chinese are far more capable and far ahead in terms on infrastructure on their side. India does not stand a chance to be an aggressor. Its positions are very strong in defence due to the natural terrain. Chinese is smarter than you and can see what is defence and what is provocation.

That is a funny one: don't believe all that you imagine, and more than that don't say all that want to believe. Because there is a distinct possibility that you will have to choke on your words! :)

In spite of your fervent wishes; China and India have a growing economic relationship, thats not quite a suitable precursor to fighting wars! ;)
