This deal was originally for Mirages,Mig 29,Gripen,F-16 below block 50

Know Rafale,MIG 35,F-16IN Block 60 "super viper",Gripen and EF and F/A-18 Super Hornet added. And many bonuses.

It was some what a good thing we waited.

Guys can any1 tell me what is the price of each fighter on the sale ??// I mean the price offered to India as it would be definitely low because of the huge contract. I am asking this because i have seen various prices.

In this article it is saying each rafale is around Euro 30million-35 million. Then the deal for 126 fighter is around 6 billion $ only.
Thats why, if anybody know the actual price of each fighter offered to India under this deal, then plz. share.

Either the source is dubious or, the reporter has gone nuts..
Rafale costs 80-90 mil..
EF- 90-105 mil.
SH- 60-75 mil.
Gripen- 40-55 mil..

come on guys our IAS trained babus are not super efficient. let them first discuss under hand dealings and per capita earnings only then can they clear proposal.

IMO eurofighter looks the best bet although i want rafale to win the race.

well, Had GOI been seriously devoted a time frame of 10-15 yrs from 1999 onwards with 3M(MAN, MONEY, MATERIAL) on developing its own multirole combat fighter instead of issuing statements in this regards... we could have a great infra for futuristics development in fighter program.. The people who are in power are most corrupt in world.
