NEW DELHI: Over 60 people have returned to India from Pakistan 0ccupied Kashmir (P0K) using the Nepal route this year and have been rehabilitated by the state government there.

However, the security agencies were disturbed over the fact that these people had crossed over to India using the Nepal route and the ease with which they were able to reach J and K without being apprehended on their way, army sources said here.

More than 390 people, including a number of families, have returned to India from ***, to their homes in Jammu and Kashmir using the route from Nepal, they said.

Most of the people had crossed over to the other side of the Line of Control (LoC) at the time when militancy was at its peak in the Kashmir Valley and were misguided by the Pakistani propaganda of leading a better life on the other side, they said.

Sources said security agencies have also carried out background checks on these people and have found a majority of them to be innocent and not associated with any type of anti-India activity.

However, all precautions are being taken while dealing with them, they said.

Not at all. Both these countries have close ties with India. Most of their imports are from India. We are just making sure that nothing gets out of control, now that China has recently build up infrastructure in the area near the disputed territories.

Bhutan is a tested friend of India, always be with India but role of Nepal is always suspicious. first they want their civilians to have free pass to India and at the same time they dont want to understand India's security concerns. India would clear to Nepal that free entry of Nepalis to India can happen only when Nepal fully co-operate India on security and military side. there can only be a free entry of Nepalis or can't, its the Nepalis who would decide and let India clear, how to deal with this neighbor....
