India to challenge China more: Indian experts

.
India is in no position to challenge the China-both economy wise and military wise.Neither India has deep pockets like china to influence the world nod does it has military power to project beyond its borders. For India Pakistan is enough to take it down.India's competition is with Pakistan but not with china.India is not of big powers league.

India enjoys much larger superiority over Pakistan both economically and militarily..than what China enjoys over India.

. . .
^^Perhaps you do know ..they can not travel to China on those visas..in reality China is actually discouraging Kashmiris to travel to China.

That is basic human right for Kashmir. indian government should not keep them in prison and blame for chinese government.

if indian govenment prevent them from travel to china they can leave the prison and enter china through the third country using these visas.

.
hahahahaha, there are more Pakistanis than chinses defending china. LOL (just saying) :D

Because they are our brothers and friends, of course we will defend them - Pakistani Nation will never forget its friends or it's enemies.

India's innovative Nano proving to be a no-no Amrit Dhillon, New Delhi
December 31, 2010
.MOST Indians believe that if you praise a child excessively, you risk inviting misfortune, but they probably don't think cars are similarly vulnerable.

When the Nano - the world's cheapest car, with a price tag of $US2000 - was launched in early 2009, Indians beamed like proud parents, enjoying the acclaim it won for its originality and the hope it gave of owning a new car.
Its maker, Tata Motors, sold 9000 cars last July. But in November, only 509 were sold, down 85 per cent from November 2009. Suddenly, the pop star of the car world looked less like Kylie and more like Cher.

Advertisement: Story continues below The Nano is in trouble, partly because of the sheer hype that surrounded it but principally because of safety concerns, lack of easy credit and pricing.

It was the Nano's price tag that caught people's imagination. Yet when customers went to buy it, the final bill was usually closer to $US3700 - still amazingly cheap, but closer to the price of other small cars.

''We paid extra for the air conditioning. But I was still taken aback at the final cost and my wife thought we should consider another small car,'' said Altaf Ali, a Delhi engineer who bought a Nano because he wanted a ''piece of history''.

In a bid to boost sales, Tata Motors has recently started offering a maintenance contract for $US2.50 a month. It is also trying to undo the negative publicity caused by several cars suddenly catching fire. The company insisted that the car was safe but, to be doubly sure, installed additional features. Not everyone was convinced.

''When I saw how fast the fire spread on TV, that decided it for me. I'd rather take out a bigger loan and get another car than feel nervous every time my kids go out in the car,'' said school teacher Meenakshi Khurana, who last month bought an Alto, the next cheapest car at $US6000.

Oddly enough, the car - meant to offer comfort and safety to Indians who normally travel dangerously perched on scooters - has been bought largely by people who already have a car but liked the idea of it for local errands.

After the fires, car owners seeking a runabout decided the Nano was no longer fun or trendy and first-time buyers began exploring the second-hand car market, especially as they doubted the Nano could handle highways.

Motoring writer Morad Ali Baig said the Nano was a ''good product'', but Indian consumers were ''unforgiving''. ''The Indian consumer doesn't want a good car, he wants the best, so why should he buy any car that has the slightest shadow over it?'' he said.

Tata Motors also seems to have realised the need to, as Baig puts it, ''fun it up'' a bit. In their new advertising, they show a little girl waiting excitedly for her father to come home in a new daffodil-yellow Nano.

As the little car effortlessly negotiates the difficult terrain, it attracts admiring glances. Once home, the girl dabs the Nano with a touch of her kohl, a traditional gesture intended to ward off the evil eye. If only they had thought of that earlier.

India challenge China with Hype Nano.

If india threatens China in it's dreams - it better wake up and apologise. LoL :)

India enjoys much larger superiority over Pakistan both economically and militarily..than what China enjoys over India.

China has a clear economic and military superiority over you. If you feel like bringing in Pakistan to make yourself feel better, by all means do so, it still doesn't change anything.

Well they were free to travel to China ..as long as they were getting their visas in their Passports...and they will be free to travel to China if they start getting their visas, where they should

As one of the worst offender your own people's humans right ... It does not suit Chinese to talk of other's.

PS : Traveling to China is not a human right.

Isn't that stating the obvious( which is exactly, what I did in the above post)..perhaps you should also read the context to which above reply is given..the said poster himself involved Pakistan and not me.

india has no moral right to criticize China's human right's record when she treats her own untouchables and various minorities so shabbily.

:wave:Hello fanboy stop dreaming.your baap USA is running from Afghanistan. And the day usa is out of region you will be kicked out of Afghanistan and than Kashmir. You have persecuted Kashmiris for long but not any more.India has already been shown its place by Pakistan during 2002 mobilization and after 26/11 2008.

I have said it before and I will say it again..
Earlier(1950) you use to rant that " let USA come on your side ..and Kashmir will be ours"

Now it is the opposite " Let USA leave our side ..and then Kashmir will be ours".

See how the times have changed.

Hey let me just say hats off to who ever made this website, it has turned into a debating hub... much appreciated lol newbi here

I've read many post on this thread, and few other... It seems the pakistan population is taking more pride in the Chinese inventions like the j-xx that the chinese themselves...

and i can clearly say future weapons and research is directly in efforts to counter CHINA not pakistan... WE have no intention of fighting Pakistan( Pakistan needs to economically reform and restructure its schools and education just like india had now look where it is! .... Our general focus has shifted east, and our look east policy as it gains momentum is surely going to make the Chinese sweat....
