India To Become $10 Trillion Economy by 2026

Dude, I don't think you have understood even one little thing I've said.

It won't matter if India's $GDP is $4T or $16T.

Even if we say the US is at $20T in 2026 and India is at $4T, but India will be a much bigger economy than the US because the exchange rate is meaningless. India could be even be two or three times bigger than the US by then.

Indian companies would be selling two or three times more cars, India will be consuming many times more food, India will need hundreds of millions of new houses, govt revenues would be twice as much etc.

The dollar GDP is used only so a western businessman knows how rich the individual people are and how many of his products he can sell to them by comparing it to his own market, and the exchange rate is a very highly determining factor for trade, trade that India is considerably less invested in compared to many other countries. In 20 or 30 years, people may even stop using dollars and maybe switch to CNY or even the INR.

The dollar GDP is merely dependent on how much dollars are present in India versus rupees. Because of India's less than sufficient trade for an economy of its size, the amount of forex is low. If a highly advanced Type III alien civilization that completely controls this galaxy comes to the earth tomorrow, its entire dollar GDP will be ZERO. Do you understand?

India is already bigger than Japan. The infrastructure projects in India alone are so big now that they completely dwarf everything that Japan does.

I don't even need to understand what you said because it was all crap. You didn't even tried to understand a little thing what I said. Okay lets forget $10 trillion we will see where Indian economy stands in 2026.

YOu need to be mature about economics first.

Even in any moderate calculations India will be $6-$7 billion economy by 2025-26.
Now think about the defence budget as 2% of GDP, It will be $120-140 billion !
Even in any moderate calculations India will be $6-$7 billion economy by 2025-26.:rofl:

Distorted Youtube video contents akin to a stinking horse manure:

Let the IMF shed some light on Modian's hyperbole:

Now if you add 7% annually for 4 more years to 4 trillion dollars (2022), what you get?

Not imaginative 10 trillions.

Actually these 10 trillion numbers are for the year 2030:

Till then, I would let the Modians count their chickens before they are hatched and be happy with their idiosyncratic beliefs.

I know you got serious hatred with Modi and BJP, I was just waiting for your new corruption expose, like you did on Adani, remember? I love that how you calculated $20 Billion corruption scandal. I am just waiting for more such bombastic analysis.

Firstly, Devaluation of currency is not the reason for growth rate slowdown. Infact the devaluation helps in export, if you want to see the example see China, how they are driving their exports by constant devaluation of currency.

Secondly the currency devaluation is scientific and not arbitrary, its monitored closely by RBI and not happen automatically, RBI intervenes if they find currency is devalued more than the limit. There is set of variable that decides the currency exchange rate. Our currency even at the rate of 66 is overvalued. It will attain the optimum level at around 70 and its all scientific and done with keeping the other currencies in mind.

And no we are not going to be $10 Trillion economy in 10 years, at max $6 Trillion however in next 16 years we can be $10 Trillion economy.
But the India currency depreciated... What can India export?

Today Indian gdp stands at 2.5 trillion
By 2020 it will cross 3 trillion mark

I also expect forex to be 500 billion dollars by 2020.as make in India starts to kick in.

I do agree ten trillion is S joke figure by 2026.

I really hope India can be better than the Chinese and NOT blindly ape the Americans. They have to develop in a way that is just as classy as the intrinsic nature and spirit of India. Frenetic leveraged financing and derivative engineering is very suited to the Americans. Compliant mass producing assembly lines of people stations is suitable for China with its monotonic communistic discipline and dictation. The Indian experience is diverse vibrant and individualistic. Same measures are probably not applicable.

Food and shelter for all in India without the indignity of casteism within the next 10 years is worth a million times 10 trillion economy. I am capitalists, market economy enthusiast and I love it for the USA. But it disgusts me to see Antilla built. It is painful to hear RollsRoyce will double in India.

I seriously question Narayanamurthy for not becoming a Bill Gates right away and start eradicating hunger. He can do it. Nilkani can. Premji can. Why don't they?
India does not need discipline and dictation. The caste system is adequate, otherwise how can persuade your countrymen to usse hands dig out manure? What India really needs is the liberation of Dalit. It seems that a pariah nation is not qualified to talk about vibrant and individualistic. This will really make India grow... Let India's life expectancy be at least as high as China's 70s levels. Or at least India's literacy rate is at its China's 80s levels. Oh, do you think Chinese don't know what? My lovely India baby?

Economic, military, industrial, life expectancy, average height, literacy rates, HDI, urbanization... At least one is India stronger than China. Then let us explain your inexplicable definition of China.

Whosoever made the threat edit that 10 Trillion to 5. Even achieving 5 Trillion would be magical with current growth rate & bogus corporate laws.
