How is highlighting an issue making fun of it? That is ludicrous logic saying that anyone else who highlights a problem within our country is making fun of us. So if there is a problem where human rights are being violated, until we decide to fix it nobody else should say a word about it because we find it insulting(and not the very act of rape insulting).
It shows a very flawed mentality as a people, and almost indicated you are accepting of the act of rape until you yourself decide to deal with it when you find it offensive.. Someday.
