India: The next superpower?

We will be eventually, till that time butthurts will live in denial. :)

India is to overtake Chinese growth rate in 2016

And yeah this is a shit thread

This is a supershit thread. Let's see what happens in 2016 but overtaking chinese growth rate doesn't mean India will be a superpower remember China has a tremendous GDP growth after 1980. Many records has been set by China in GDP growth rate and remember there's damn much inflation in India also and there's a difference in GDP figures growing, the one to consider is real GDP growth not the inflation. China still stands at a GDP growth more than 7% and maybe it again turn into double digit. I hope you understand that because before Modi govt you better know there wasn't any such news regarding India. BTW Your GDP is somewhat in the range of 5% and same stand for Pakistan for 2014. In 2015 Pakistan GDP will grow by 6% sources say that so there would be a competition :D and let's see whether China allow the other 2 to acquire his growing position in South Asia.

Its illegal...
Yeah, I know caste is banned by law. But it does exist in everyday life in India and almost everyone respect this unfair system, right? In my opinion, if India really wants to be a big figure in the modern world, the first step is to abandon caste completed from Indian society, not only by law, but by education, even more, by redistribution of fortune through some kind revolution.

Wasn't Indian claim back in 2004 that India would become superpower, 11 yrs past already but India still no where close to superpower, how much longer will India need to be the superpower?
