Indian treat NE Indians as tribal Dalits. Indians treat all Chinese people as untouchables.To Indians, they feel more ashamed of losing the 1962 war to China than being a British colony for 200 years. Why? Because Indians treat British as a higher caste than their Brahmins. It’s natural for them to serve their master. Whereas they regard all East Asians as Dalits. So their loss in 1962 is an affront to their caste order. It’s equivalent of their Dalits rebel against the Brahmin oppression and overturn the caste structure of their society. So to them, NE tribal Dalits might as well be Chinese.
