A lot of Indian politicans are being diagnosed recently with piles. Pakistan has announced to voluntarily ship large consignments of redchilly supositries to reduce their pain and as a gesture of friendship. SM Krishna was given a demostration during his peace talks visit and he sweared that no supositry has improved his worsening rectum disease as good as Pakistani one. He has expressed intrest in persuing bilateral trade talks to allow bulk import of these supositries for entire Lok Subha members. Rumors also had it that he will discuss with Man Mohan for subsidies on supositries imported from Pakistan and even giving Pakistan "most favoured destination" status for import of subsidized supositries..


Now Who exactly is India to dictate uncle sam??? Should Pakistan pressurize china to monitor all russian arms supplies to India??

I think he should write a letter in strong word and spirit as a start.. then possibly gather some like minded individuals( possibly the whole city).. and start a protest in front of his local Mc Donalds..

Finally,someone who thinks like me,most of your post was correct except the bolded part.The ruling Govt is just trying to advertise the fact,"We are not being soft on Pakistan"

If it was an attempt to make Pakistan look bad,it would be futile,as after wikileaks already image of Pakistan in diplomatic perspective has dropped.Also post 26/11,local populous has a -ve image of Pakistan.

Like i mentioned in my previous post this message is only for domestic media and political consumption.

well look at this way, I don't remember WHEN in my life I have seen a positive image of Pakistan in India.. Sure the little nuances shown by NGO's and those social butterflies show up all over the media with sentimental music.
But in the end, it all comes down to downplaying Pakistan in most areas.. and making a VERY gullible public harp to the tune.
As far as Pakistan's international image is concerned, I havent seen a positive side of it since we went nuclear, and somehow as far as I am concerned... as long as we possess nukes.. the powers the be will do everything possible to display us as being on the brink of collapse.. and it must be the longest brink ever.. if at all the reports of RAND and other think tanks hold any credibility, we should have collapsed many years ago.. and many times over.
History.. shows otherwise.

Pakistani politicians ( not the media) in fact are more restrained while talking publicly on Indian affair. When one tries excessively to harm other's reputation , it usually backfires. Europeans specially, do not appreciate going too far in damaging one's reputation.

As a kid,i remember the only time we Indians had a +ve image of Pakistan was when Junoon was performing in India,i remember me and Mom watching it late in the night.

With more uploads on youtube and it proliferation,the opinions have gotten even worse.Maybe "Tere bin laden" might have a minor change of opinion.

Possession of nukes is one issue,but it was the nuclear proliferation issue that was the last straw for the diplomatic community.
