The Canadian universities are publicly funded, just like the health care and other social services, just like the roads and the highways and the transit system.

The universities decide individually to try to get cash. All international students, including Indians, could disappear today and it will make no difference as to how the higher education in Canada is funded by the taxpayers.

So please do us all a favor and tell your international students to stay out of here.

The Saudi international students all left a few years ago, didn't make an iota of a difference to the Canadian universities. The only losers were condo owners who lost a source of big rental incomes because each Saudi international student was getting guaranteed $3000 US monthly on top of having their tuitions paid.
