India Surrenderd to China AGAIN: India withdraws troops from disputed Himalayan region

. .
I think they are still there and patrolling
Patrolling has nothing to do with road. Even Indian army is patrolling on Chinese territory and this is happening for decades.

The main concerns was the road. That was the only reason India kicked out Chinese from construction slight.

And China will not able to build the road as per agreement.
So this is a big big diplomatic win for India I'm true sense.
What Chinese can do ?? Only able to create nonsense threads on PDF to save their humiliating faces.

.
Apparently they haven't withdrawn their troops, so they might resume after Modi attends the international summit in China.

My view from the beginning is that the Chinese are playing a long game, and wont do anything at least until Trumps state visit there around November.

But they withdrawn their road construction, that was the aim.

. .
Lul They pulled back those bulldozers & construction equipments. Road construction has been stopped. So how come China's victory?Cheerleaders can't stop cheering

Q: The Indian government's announcement is that there is a "mutual disengagement" of the troops between the two countries. You haven't mentioned the pullback of the Chinese troops. You mentioned only the pullback of the Indian troops. How do you explain?

A: The Chinese side has made it clear that the Indian border personnel and equipment that trespassed into China's territory have all been withdrawn to the Indian side of the border. The Chinese border troops continue with their patrols in the Dong Lang area. China will continue with its exercise of sovereign rights to protect territorial sovereignty in accordance with the stipulations of the border-related historical treaty.

India, China agree to pull back troops to resolve tense border dispute

BEIJING — India and China have withdrawn troops from a disputed Himalayan region on their border, foreign ministries from the two countries announced Monday, defusing a tense standoff that had threatened to provoke armed conflict between the nuclear-armed Asian rivals.

For the past two months, Indian and Chinese troops had faced off on a plateau in the Doklam area in the Himalayas after Indian troops moved in to prevent the Chinese military from building a road into territory claimed by India’s close ally, Bhutan.

Lol Chinese lost face once again.. that too for a desolate piece of land.. seriously lack of IQ of the chinese government and army is very evident.

.
China is in a far better position to do so, India would be worse off strategically and diplomatically if it stands down and then redeploys them some time later.
it depends upon chinese act. China has backed off from road building. Any chance in position will invite retaliation.

The key is retaliation. Once China militarized the area, will India attack once China restart road building?

Nah we will simply move in again and obstruct the path or bulldoze parts of the road and we will have the same standoff again.Chian has no leverage against india at this area ,they are surrounded on both sides and we have the high ground.

What a funny jokes India not surrender China is a surrender from India.:chilli:
