A simple question,
How are you so sure that the facts were not shared with MMS? Being a part of joint statement means something and i hope that you understand this.

Text of India-Pakistan joint statement - The Times of India

Thanks for asking the question...Look buddy this was a hot topic in Indian politics and you very well know about our more than curious media...Anyways there have been various mixed news from Pakistan about whether any proofs were given or not....This question was asked directly to MMS in our Parliament where he categorically said that no proof's have been shared....Thereafter many news has come from Pakistan where man high officials have said(rather bragged) that we have enough proofs and they will be shared at right time...So may i know what all you make from the above explanation...

Though you have shared the link from Times of India which many people have little respect for yet i am assuming you are fine with the wording.... Also i asked a specific question about what line/comment made you say what you are saying....Anyways to help you out let me highlight the line

Prime Minister Gilani mentioned that Pakistan has some information on threats in Baluchistan and other areas
.

Now please suggest how you infered from this line that Pakistan has shared proofs with India on Baloch??? Now let me show you another example where thngs were actually shared

Prime Minister Singh reiterated the need to bring the perpetrators of the Mumbai attack to justice. Prime Minister Gilani assured that Pakistan will do everything in its power in this regard. He said that Pakistan had provided an updated status dossier on the investigations of the Mumbai attacks and had sought additional information/evidence. Prime Minister Singh said that the dossier is being reviewed.

Now do you see the difference about reporting when something is shared and something is not???

Well that's for sure the Mumbai attacks were on the top of the agenda, infact Indian Government resumed the dialogue process based on this condition.

It was the first time that Baluchistan ever came under discussion.Assuming that Mr.Manmohan singh just let Mr.Gilani to make it a part of joint statement on his request looks odd.Atleast it shows some sort of acceptance of this problem. And any reasonable person can't accept a problem untill he/she is fully convinced that something is really wrong about it.
And i posted the TOI link just to keep it a bit more acceptable for you.:)(nothing serious.)

Now let me put the other argument....We have a dispute and other side want's to discuss on one issue whcih they feel we have a hand...why should we worry if we don't have anythign to do with it..In fact if i am wrong i will try my best to avoid this issue being part of Joint-Statement??? B/W our argument is not on what Pak feels about Indian involvement in Baloch, our argument is on your statement that proofs were shared...right???

No worries.... just to let you know I have no bias for any media...I always take news on merit and don't trash/quote media for news that is against/in favor of my POV...

I can only feel pity on UK where you have started living.

I usually stay away from such discussions because
1.) Even as an Indian, I do not believe that Indian government does not do any wrong by means of RAW and IB..... else their existence itself is useless.
2.) I do not think there is a solution for Pakistan, India, Kashmir, Terrorism anywhere in sight... least of all in this forum where we, the non-decision making common men and women, sit.

However, simply on logic, I wanted to raise this point and this has nothing to do with Musharraf per se but applies to him too.....

When a guy confesses to a crime, no more proofs are required. But when a guy is charged with a crime, one has to prove it. That is how it works in all courts of law.

In this case for example, if Musharraf confesses to something, it is a confession of a crime. But if he charges India with a crime, he needs to give proof.

This is how law works plain and simple.

Having said that, just so that trollers do not feed on it, as I said, I do not think India is as innocents as some of us Indians believe it to be.

Regards,
Anoop.

Indian presence in Afghanistan is the worst thing that can happen to Pakistan especially when Afghanistan shares a long border with Balochistance province of Pakistan and especially after Bugti's death. India is taking advantage of the buray halat in our western provinces.

Pakistan must do its best to get rid of india and any indian-loving government in Afghanistan.

And people wonder why Taliban-ruled Afghanistan is in Pakistan's interest.
The Taliban want the indians out of Afghanistan
