India still needs China's polysilicon (and Monocrystalline silicon)Technology

Not for long

The plant is to manufacture 99.9999999% pure polysilicon from manufacturing-grade silica using hydrochlorination technology. Fluor is the engineering integrator for process, utilities, infrastructure, and offsites and is providing detailed engineering services as well as support for procurement and field engineering.

In some ways (such as imagination). India and Turkey are at the same level.:-)

Huh? Try making sense for once. Somehow Chinese these days are dillusioned people who believe in Chinese-exceptionalism. They act like Americans though Americans earn 5-8 times their best can in China.

Good to see India doing fundamental development in a strategically important technology.

Lanco Infratech Limited is one of the fastest growing business conglomerates in India. Its portfolio includes EPC, Power, Infrastructure, Solar, and Natural Resources. Lanco Solar is a 100% subsidiary of Lanco Infratech Limited. As a part of its integrated 'Sand to Power' strategy, it has established India's first integrated solar manufacturing SEZ at Chhattisgarh for manufacture of polysilicon, ingots, wafers, and modules.

This facility is the first composite polysilicon plant in India to use manufacturing-grade silica to produce not only solar-grade polysilicon but also other products that comprise solar power modules.

Lanco has brought together a core group with polysilicon experience who understand the issues surrounding fabrication quality, construction quality, and start up. Additional personnel with appropriate knowledge and experience are being added. Lanco is also evaluating the qualification of vendors to support this project.

But you're just a little baby. Oh, I mean polysilicon technology in India.
And you are a little xiaofenhong paid by CCP. Tell me, why polysilicon technology cann't be in India? The private firm is very much building a plant to produce it.

This discussion is about poly-silicon production in India. Why are you posting other unrelated links?
Also, pray tell, how does it stop Lanco from setting up polysilicon manufacturing in India?

Infact, the same consultants/engineering who helped setting up LDK Polysilicon manufacturing in Xinyu,China is helping Lanco setup the plant in India.

So behind all the Chinese brouhaha its American expertise working. False Chinese pride as always.

To tell you the truth, China is the leader of the world's PV industry. So, Besides, I'm sorry you don't know how far India is from the world level.

LDK? Who knows what it is.

Xiaofeng Peng (born c.1975) founded LDK Solar (nicknamed Light) in July 2005 and is its chairman and chief executive officer. Mr. Peng first founded Suzhou Liouxin in March 1997, and was its chief executive officer until February 2006.[6] Suzhou Liouxin manufactured personal protective equipment products like gloves and employed 12,000. He considered adding solar cell wafers to its product line when he realized that no Chinese company was producing them. In 2005, Peng invested $30 million of his own money and $80 million of venture financing into building factories.[7]

Mr. Peng graduated from Jiangxi Foreign Trade School in 1993 with a diploma in international business and from Beijing University Guanghua School of Management with an executive MBA degree in 2002.[6] His net worth was $2.5 billion in 2008.[7]

2013 Xiaofeng Peng tried to run Ecommerce, Set up FFdms Co., tried C2B ecommerce model, but was not able to put in much time. In January 2014 given FFdms owed suppliers and employees salary scandals, a lot of illegal dismissal of employees lawsuits. April 2014 Xiaofeng Peng, as the respondent, requested access to personal bankruptcy liquidation proceedings.

@Shamsher1990 so, I'm very sorry, LDK is a Chinese company.
India still needs Chinese technology. But this time from a Chinese
small company.

Good job. Still the world's most powerful mouth.:-)

LDK? Who knows what it is.
Why should I or even India care if China is world leader in PV MANUFACTURING? China is a manufacturer. Most of PV technology comes out of US/EU and Japan.

As I said, it still does not stop Lanco to setup Polysilicon manufacturing plant in India, does it?

I guess you have reading comprehension issues.

LDK is not setting up manufacturing in India. The american company which provided consultancy to LDK for setting up polysilicon manufacturing is also providing consultancy to Lanco (an INDIAN company) to setup polysilicon manufacturing in India.

So much for Chinese IQ.

You think too much, really. Most of India's technology comes from China, but China does not prevent other countries from providing technology to India. Generally speaking, we just laugh at India's backwardness.

Its more like China cannot prevent any country from doing trade with any other country. China is not as important as many Chinese think it is. And we Canadian laugh at Chinese and their backward society which does not even have a half way decent vaccine manufacturing and quality control for even their babies. Pathetic!
