Rejecting New Delhi’s brouhaha over the death sentencing of an Indian spy, Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria said on Saturday that India stands totally exposed on the issue of terror financing and perpetrating subversive acts in Pakistan.



A Pakistani military court has recently sentenced Kulbushan Jadhav – an Indian national– to death on charges of espionage.

Talking to Radio Pakistan on Saturday, Zakaria said that India was perpetrating subversive acts of terrorism in Pakistan in spite of deceptively denouncing it on the global front.

“India has been blowing the trumpet on the issue of terrorism since long but the fact is that the country’s intelligence agency itself is involved in terrorism,” he stressed.

Jadhav was an agent of Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), the primary foreign intelligence agency of India, and a serving officer of the Indian Navy, said the FO spokesperson.

“The [RAW] agent has been awarded death sentence after a due judicial process,” he restated.

Meanwhile, the Indian government has decided to put on hold all bilateral exchanges with Pakistan in reaction to Jadhav death sentence.

The Times of India (TOI) has reported that India on Friday called off talks between the two neighbouring countries on maritime security which was scheduled to be held on April 17.

On Friday, Pakistan put up a strong defence for Jadhav’s death sentence, revealing for the first time the full charge sheet as well as a timeline of the proceedings against him.

Prime Minister’s Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz strongly rebutted Indian allegations that Jadhav was not a spy and that due process of law was not followed in his trial.

China also listens like a parent listening to his most ill-behaved child wondering if he somehow exchanged at the hospital.

China patronizes Pakistan only for its own interest. If their interest is ever hampered you'll see what they do to Pakistan.
Why do you think Pakistanis ignore the Chinese Uighur issue completely? Are they not their Muslim brothers? Are they not fighting for freedom as well?
If you remember, the then Pakistani Army Chief had to run to China immediately after the Uighur riot to pacify the Chinese govt.

Of course Pakistan will have every motivate to expose India's alleged role in terrorism in Pakistan. Haven't we done the same, from Khalistan and Kashmir to Mumbai?

Ever since the rather public nature of exposure when Ajmal Kasab was tried and executed, Pakistan security establishment has been itching to return the favour. The trouble is, unlike what we did - a public trial, with Jadhav they went about it in exactly the reverse manner. Releasing a confessional video and then going silent, only to declare that he has been convicted and sentenced.

It doesn't served the purpose in the least. All that the world saw was a confession obviously obtained through torture, and a sham trial in secret because the evidence couldn't stand scrutiny. It convinced no one except those who wish to be convinced. It is a handbook on how not to try and implicate your neighboring country.

That terrorist gave all his information about his whole terror network. Hundreds of his local agents busted as the result. All that getting documented and distributed around the world.
