India snubs China, to attend Nobel ceremony

My parents are Buddhist, so I've heard variations of all these stories before. I'm not Buddhist by the way so spare me any such lectures.

There is a Buddhist concept known here as Ku (苦) which I believe is a translation of "Dukkha". Breaking such a cycle is very rare, because the nature of such cycles is that they are self-sustaining.

Aah...........I see that you have no problem in using Buddhist concepts to give lectures, only in receiving them

Ask Abishek if he felt lectured by that post and then maybe you will have a point.

Although it hardly matters, at the end of the day I'm not interested in your opinion and you're not interested in mine.

Jade CD doesn't really need that clarification. we'll be better off making it clear to some of our sentimental indian members here who have unnecessarily alienated one of the most pro-india members on pdf.

@CD

There is no denying the fact that China and India are geopolitical rivals, as most of our aims and interests clash. That does not mean we are enemies, neither could we afford to be. There is a lot of work each of our governments has to do to uplift their respective citizens and we cannot waste energies on confronting…in essence, as neighbors, we have no choice but to live together. This love hate relationship would continue

Believe me surveys can be heavily biased…and can be manipulated to suit the surveyor objectives….how could a 1000 responses mainly taken from big cities represent such complex societies as China and India? And regarding media, you know they look for issues, if they don’t find one, then make issues…one such example is the news in this thread

You're right of course.

Although I'm no longer quite so optimistic, more realistic perhaps.

which are your front trading partners..?
and you have problums with all of them...
so , how long the monay will keepflowing..

i my claims are all legitimate...

a spellcheck is in order for you mate. btw china has had issues because developed nations are used to easy money. now that the money supply is reducing they are complaining and finding faults in others.

CPC for that matter is pragmatic enough and has significantly reduced its dependence on exports.

I totally agree with you. What is point in posting such irreverent news items.

If there is a stronghold of the Tibetan independence movement in india, and then I hope you do not say so, it simply is trying to fool others, I hope this is clear.

There is none whatsoever... the irony is that India has played host to the DL and will continue to host him till he is peacefully living within India... We will not support any home grown movement against another country. India is a spiritual place and hosting the DL as a spiritual leader will be tolerated, but not as a political leader.

Don't worry it was inevitable anyway, no one can be blamed for alienating other people really. It just seems like the natural order in our part of the world.

I'm afraid this is only your interpretation. If it were truly the case, the Indian government can if they want dismantle the Tibetan government in exile and make it clear that their stay in India is for religious reasons.

India hasn't done this and allows the DL to continue his political tours around the world. Something that Beijing protests vehemently.

but those terrorists whome you supported at UN will be full of optimisum...
somebodies loss is some bodies gain..

Once again I did not support any terrorists (anyone is free to check my post history for themselves) but thank you for your insight.

CS, that wouldn't be possible for GOI. If we host him as a religious figure how can we impose travel restrictions on him. Whatever he does outside India is out of our control. Even if we were to throw him out, his tours will continue unabated.
He is not allowed to make political speeches in India.
