India cannot build her own aircraft carrier because she is skipping industrial revolution onto a services based economy.
Out of all the Great Powers in the world (US, Britain, Germany, Japan, Russia, China, etc...) they all went through the Industrial revolution phase before going onto a services based economy.
India thinks it can beat the trend by bypassing industrial manufacturing, and going onto services economy!
