You don't seem to understand that the Chinese Navy would have open waters on our end. Your true blue water navy could be effectively choked if Sri Lanka and Maldives hosted our Chinese brothers.

The benefit would be that the Chinese would upgrade our Navy and surrounding Navies.

India would stop bullying Sri Lanka and would go cry to the west.

The only countries that are related to Indian ocean region are Srilanka, BD and Pakistan. The only country which has the hatred and animosity towards India is Pakistan and that too,we do not have any maritime disputes with Pakistan.
China on the other hand has the disputes with Vietnam,Philippines,South Korea, Japan and other countries around SCS and east sea. The comment from the media is aptly suitable for Chinese.

If any of the nations above you mention were concerned about Indian military, they would procure arms to specifically counter India.

So far except, Pakistan, none of the above nation's military have procured any weapons that are India specific.

Bangladesh, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka are not procuring, AWACS, new fighters jets, submarines, cruise/ballistic missiles.

So yes! Only Pakistan is concerned about Indian military.
