Because the country is far too divided when it comes to power/control, that's why the US and NATO couldn't defeat them either. You have to find solutions for co-existing with the Taliban and that is a strenght of Indian foreign poilitics, to deal even with opposing parties and come to useful relations.
However, any further Indian involvement in Afghanistan is dependent on the outcome of the current elections there. Dependent on how the power will change, the view towards India can change as well.
Afghanistan can be a benefit for India in the long run, but much more important now is Iran!

what can india do there in afganistan i dont understand, it is land locked country sharing boarder with pakistan and it is the ultimate key for kabul establishment.

Pakistan is not the only country that has border with Afghanistan .

Pakistan is not the only country that has border with Afghanistan Afganistan needs a port connictivity which its neighbour pakistan or iran has, as far as pakistan is concerened they know this leverage and they bargain with them which means no place for indian business there and if, they connects with iran then their connectivity is much poor as well as their is economic sanction and truly speaking Iran will never try to connect with afgan because of afgan security situation as few day ago only Iran guards were kidnapped from boarder near Afgan-pakistan
