IAF A.C.M Arjun Singh made an official visit to Pakistan on our request after 1965 war. Nur Khan was a thorough gentleman.

This was our heritage. Despite fighting a freaking war. Professionals chit-chatting. Terrorism is a menace for everyone. SCO RATS is a platform to work together. Unfortunately, India has been not aligned with it and might be a misfit if it continues to behave as it had and even reportedly will do this time.

Pakistan is reknowned for it's hospitality and open arms and inviting it's arch-rival despite officially declaring her as an existential threat for us speaks volume for restraint, open-heartedness, responsibility and yearn for peaceful co-existence.

Indeed a great gesture.

Please also remember that in the same country the Army Chief was planning to invade Kargil while the Prime Minister was engaged in furthering peace.

Times changed and the values too I guess.

They are welcome, they will be well fed with Beef Briyani, Chapli Kebab and then served a cuppa “Tea”.

With the gradual deepening of China's investment in Iran and CEPC, Iran and Pakistan are bound to have more and more economic ties.
The Chinese believe that economic relations determine political relations and political relations determine military relations. It is a historical occasionality for the two countries to get some quarrel, and it is a historical necessity for the two countries to move towards harmony.

You Chinese are in for a big surprise as far as Iran is concerned ! You fellows haven't got a clue about Iranian history and these people.

Indians will play terrorist after all it comes natural to them

Salaam

I don't understand why people are treating it as something more than it is: an exercise. Pakistan and China have very strong bilateral ties and hold exercises directly. This particular exercise is set up for SCO members of which India is a part. Pakistan is the host country, and if we object to Indian representation here without a concrete reason that has something to do with this particular exercise, we'd lose diplomatic weight and gain nothing.

I don't know why people are treating it like the 3 member Indian team will be observing high level ISI intelligence meetings.

bajwa doctrine at its finest

hellalujah

What, in your opinion, should have been Pakistan's response once it became clear that India was going to join the exercise?

Depends on visa approvals , people are on vacation in the immigration department

Paperwork tends to take time if someone in department is away on vacation stuff clogs up , may be next year

So, in brief Pakistan is a safe country and it is undeniable; actions speaks louder than words.
Further, no dignity left in cricket as a gentlemen sport but a blatant arm twisting instrument.

Nicely put across.

This exercise should be treated just as what it is. An exercise involving all SCO members.

What should IK or Bajwa do? Deny a member state to participate in this? Best would be to not even issue an statement and make it an issue.

lets invite indian military attaches to GHQ , serve them tea

No matter. What.... Russia always support to India at most of the international forms..

Pakistan so much wanted to join SCO without India, but was thwarted by Russia's support. Now with Iran soon joining SCO, we will have another Indian ally in this group.
In the coming years, we might join OIC too given we have the 3rd largest muslim population. There will be hardly a forum left where Pakistan can play its games without India checkmating it.
We need a separate table for Terrorism sponsors for the likes of Iran-India Bhai Bhai Fanbois

But was it not India who always objected on Talks with Pakistani nor touring Pakistan until terrorism is stopped by Pakistan?

So has India accepted that terrorism has stopped??????
