India sees China as 'de facto competitor'

New Delhi is well within the rage of China's conventional artillery.

If you dare to respond it with nuke, then it is time to say goodbye to you.

its you who are saying will nuke india,so you know we will retaliate
plus if you think that our president and pm will not be moved to a safer location,i pitty your IQ
india has enough nukes to make china cry so keep you high boasting to yourself
and india will have agni 5 in near future so if you attack before that well and good but if not then i will laugh at your thinking

chinese here talks about 62 war..

just few 10000+ soldiers were fighting with 80000 chinese troops. So even 3 year old kid will tell that who will win but chinese here goes gaga.

so it was more a political blunder than a military failure.
They think that we should be Spartans to defeat them:lol:

This is not an aircraft carrier, but a moving target.

Indian's political blunder not just in 1962 but in the 1950s and 1960s is that they think they were the "natural successor" of the British Empire in Asia and having a say to anything, yes including Xizang, or what you may call Tibet. Even after the UN forces was driven back to the 38 line by us in 1953, Nehru was in his Post-Imperialism dream which was crushed into pieces by PLA in the 1962 skirmish which however was seen as a fiasco by the indian side.

India cannot match China's military force: Indian Naval Chief - IBNLive

New Delhi: Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Sureesh Mehta has set off a storm by saying India cannot match China military force. Is it a warning from India's military that the government needs to hear?

"In military terms, both conventional and non-conventional, we neither have the capability nor the intention to match China force for force," said Admiral Sureesh Mehta.

For a nuclear-armed military representing the interests of a billion-plus people, the lack of confidence is quite striking. India's military leadership has made a stunning confession that New Delhi doesn't have the stomach for a fight, if push came to shove on the disputed Sino-Indian boundary.

"Whether in terms of GDP, defence spend or any other parameter, the gap between the two is too wide to bridge and is getting wider by the day," he said.

Just teach them another lesson if they wanna cause the troubles again.

Comparing today's India to today's China is like to compare a fat seal to a large great white shark.

^^^ CD didn't your leadership say they could not match the USA so tell me does that mean you are going to quit life and go cry into a corner? or keep on pulling the chains to reach #1? not to mention the naval chiefs view is correct we are not trying to nor can we match the military strength of the PLA as of today however this will not be the case forever modernization and procurement of new weapons/equipment to replace older outdated ones is taking place Chinese leaders have the ability to attack NE India and occupy it however if that is what you want act soon because if you wait you will never be able to such a thing well you could try but then god only knows how many PLA bodies we will have to cremate in the Himalayas
