India Seeks to Escape an Asian Future Led by China

.
Dammit India! Why dont you just attach your wagon to the chinese locomotiv, close your eyes and hope for the best, like some of your neighbours??? Very frustrating!!!

.
Totally understandable...

Under the same mountain ... the monkey cann't live with the tiger... so monkey moves away...

Its logical for India to run... escape the mountain... or the tiger eats monkey!!

Paa Jee: Problem here is that there is no place to escape even. Modi has placed India in a fix, as once was done by Nehru. They have no option, but to live subservient to China, whether by consent or by coercion.

"Man amb choopan layi gayi, baagh wich pharhi gayi"

.
If not being pushed to the limit, China wouldn't have chosen a war in 1962, when China was in the worst shape facing hostility from both US and USSR, and had a severe nationwide food shortage.

But Indians are taught in their schools that China and Pakistan started all wars with them. LMAO....

.
Anyhow, you are right.... Monkey is caught... and now nothing more to do than... nach nee kanjree ae!

:omghaha: :omghaha: :omghaha:

Oye Dildaar PaaJee,

Are you saying:
Thori phis gai ae, thori paate gai ae?

Well, now they have Rphaaeil... so why they are escaping the Mountain Tiger?

India Phraand DolaanTruump might come back...

Anyhow, you are right.... Monkey is caught... and now nothing more to do than... nach nee kanjree ae!

Mangus

In fact, Modi is saying, again and again, to Xi Jinping that:

"Way chhadd mairi veeni na marorh"

There is only one potential power who can give stiff competition to the west , that is India. China is already boxed itself and no one trusts China. India’s growth also help the world.
lol 🤣

Geography is destiny. There is no escape from it. To escape from China's pull, India needs to accumulate power and a size of its own. Yet, aside from population dividend, I do not think India is capable of doing anything positive in excess in the foreseeable future.

Still, even though few educated elites and a herd of desperadoes may indeed escape from China-led Asia to the US or UK, majority has to stay where they are, enjoy or loathe the condition they find themselves in, and, eventually, nothing changes.

To look at it more closely, even those lucky enough to escape are not escaping a China-led Asia, they are escaping from India.

Even rhetorically, however, escapist feelings are not to be frowned upon because India's best contribution to Asia would be to make itself less, because, practically, India currently has nothing to offer.

I do not think of a single country in Asia that are delusional enough to think of India as something they can benefit from.

Confusing article. It is a EAST Asian future being talked about here.

India was never part of East Asia which is what the RCEP is. East Asia (China, Japan, Korea plus ASEAN) is an economically integrated part of the world. India never was.

You can't escape something you were never part of. lol
