India seeks most favoured nation status from Pakistan

We should reciprocate the same gesture to be fair..as well expanding trade with India will benefit Pakistani consumers and economy. Only people feeling threatened from this are feudal industrial lord who are shoving down sub-standard product on Pakistani consumers..just look at Pakistani automotive industry versus Indian one..we are still assembling ages old platforms of Suzuki and Toyota but selling them on the same international price tag. I reckon import of vehicles from India will be much more beneficial than anything else.

increasing of trade also gives a better deterrent than nuclear war heads. More people to people interactions and Commerce btw the two nations will lock the two nations to each other for their mutual growth.

India and Pakistan are two nations capable of very high growth potential. together with China and BD (Also SL) the amount of trade and commerce there will easily surpass the EU or even the OPEC block with the sheer volume!

Once you figure out that together you are stronger, there is on turning point! England and France are the best example for this.

Why are you all soo shocked as if sky came down or something..right is right and wrong is wrong..just look at where Pakistani industry stands versus the Chinese and Indian ones..look at the Indian bike and auto industry?? A visit to auto industry in Pakistan is depressing at best..1970's Suzuki platforms with updated lights and mud guard each year..Chinese clones of Honda CD70 assembled under different names with sub standard quality. We are still running or carburetors?? I mean come on for god sake free Arabian petrol doesn't flow into pumps anymore..then is the loud noise and pollution of two stroke 1970's vespacar..errr i mean rickshaws!

I personally believe killing all these sub-standard bike assemblers of Pakistan is a good idea by flooding the market with Bajaj pulsars! Hell invite bajjaj to open an assembly factory here and let locals have jobs!

Opening up market will increase competition and Pakistani industries can once think of innovation rather than bagging huge profits on low tech!

There is no sign that disputes will be solved, than does it mean we can't do business as well??? Its like intentionally remaining blinds!!!! I said it many times including the thread related to Pakistan importing Korean locomotives.

Pakistan has many thing to export and India has many thing to export!!!! If Pakistan bothers about future trade imbalance than atleast they should start it with the some products that they usually imports from other countries. India is a big market as well, Pakistan will surely gain like everyone else doing business in India.

True...if trade will increase then so dose the competetion and that will be helpfull for both sides...

trade and business is not politics...trust me when you think like a businessman then politics dont bother you..its like mixing business and pleasure...as a trader i will go where i get best value for money or the desired tech..I have digged as far as Israeli software in Saudi Arabia and Indian engines in Pakistan.
