Please it was India's decision to reduce the embassy staff not the other way around. It is embarrassing and Quereshi should have asked the embassy to pack up rather than regurgitating what India already offered to do as exacting some revenge. That's just lame.

Yes. That's some great diplomatic skill that only you guys have. Quereshi should have some shame and have expelled the Indian embassy all together after India's move. Instead he did exactly India asked him to do and showed that as a revenge with a straight face. Poor fellow.
We derive no pleasure in maintaining diplomatic ties, but it is simply safer to maintain minimal ties in terms of reducing the risk of conflicts. Maybe even our mutual animosity might cease in time and we can have cultural exchange. I think, despite the hatred and animosity both Indians and Pakistanis share common bonds and traditions that both sides are interested in exploring. Outside our nation's we can get along very well.
