Utter nonsense. What has BRICS got to do with the dispute. BRICS has been a corner stone of our development agenda and boycotting it will not really be in our national interest, besides out of the entire BRICS community we only have issues with China, so why should we really boycott meeting others? If there is something humiliating in it, it is only for China as it was China that said there would be no talks until Indian Army withdraws and on the other hand has extended a letter of invitation to the Indian NSA. We got what we wanted both militarily and diplomatically. Stop crying !!
