India says Burma has NO nukes

yes we do have concerns about nuclear accidents in india coz we live nearby

But the main question is why india is concerned about burma nukes and how its indian security issue?
indians got nukes and its burma security concern too... i hope you got my point if you try to think with open mind which is highly unlikely thing...

We? You are neither British nor an American. Remove your mask and talk.

Name one nuclear accident in India which is even remotely at par with the magnitude of the tragedies that have happened in USA and Russia. You are just shooting hot air. And there is a world of difference between 'concern for nuclear accidents' and 'concern for security of nukes'. The former is applicable to all nations with nuclear power generation facilities. Accidents can happen anywhere. The latter , (security of nukes) however, applicable only to your country as everyone is worried about your nukes falling in the hands of the Taliban. Let India worry about its security concerns mate, whether we should be concerned about the possibility of Burmese nukes or not is for us to decide. Why are you concerned about our concerns or the lack of them?

The question still is why an Indian MP raised question about Burma's nukes and why Indian FM has to say in clear words "Burma has NO nukes"

I mean what relevance India has with regards to Burmese nuclear program?

Can you explain a bit so that i can understand in which context the Indian Members Parliament are raising the question officially

Maybe the question wasnt about Myanmar's nukes specifically? The article doesnt talk about the exact question that was raised. we dont know for sure what the issue was. But we surely dont have enough context or evidence to say that India was acting like Myanmar's spokesperson or was poking its nose into another country's affairs. Lets not create mountains out of molehills.

I know indian fellows will have some problems with my querry....
but india got nukes herself and all other neighbourhood countires of india are concerned about security of Indian nukes...lots of incidents have been reported about indian nukes which are of concerned....

if india have nukes then all other neighbourhood countires have right to have nukes to defend.....:pdf:

Issue is only when nukes fall in to wrong hands. Then u wont have anything to defend because it is already in wrong hands who dont care how you retaliate

We? You are neither British nor an American. Remove your mask and talk.

I am Born British and now American nation from last 11 years.... and i do love Pakistan as its my Parents country whats your problem with thisssS????

dont prevoke me to remove indians masks who will be ashamed to be called humans......

Nuclear Incident is an incident small or large, which can create hell of a mess

indian nukes record
See your face in mirror

Leaks- another mirror

-1992: Four tons of heavy water spilt at Rajasthan nuclear power plant (India)

8-1972: Radioactive water has to be pumped out of the Indian Point nuclear power plant (USA)

13-1992: Tube leak causes a radioactive release of 12 Curies of radioactivity from Tarapur nuclear power station (India)

need more details?????

if the question is about wrong hands then i classify indian hands are wrong ... world should not let indian wrong hands on nukes too...
burma is not a wrong hand if you see things from where i can see things...

Issue of Myanmar having nukes or trying to build them is doing rounds in the west. Some MP (very mindful of western interests and concerns) raised the issue. What would the FM say? We do not know? That would have furthur vitiated the atmosphere with CIA reading the statement as "We are not sure if they have it, they might have"!.....Those who think that India has to hide something can kindly sujjest what the FM could have said without raising suspicion? And you Pakistanis should be happy if Myanmar gets nukes coz ur bed-partner china would want em to have nukes! And those who say Indian nukes are not safe are just trying out their luck at being Moses and parting the waters of the sea. Its not use...so quit that rhetoric.period.
But with the amazing levels of corruption and its tolerance in the Indian government I cannot vouch for the future. Someday you just might find Laloo Yadav and suresh kalmadi together hawking nukes by a middle-east street!

No one said India is poking its nose here but surely Indian FM's loud and clear statement claiming "Burma has NO nukes" gives the impression as if India is speaking on behalf of Burma

This is a naive arguement. Does that mean every such statement should be treated on behalf of somehting? There are loads of reports defining nuclear programme of other nations, particularly in west. Every one can not be treated with on-behalf theory.

@ topic: I guess India actually supported Burma, given the amount of pressure mounted on that country.

Its just like US saying Pakistan's Nuclear arsenal is safe..:pop:

Valid question. US and Russia had nuclear 'accidents' as well. So does that mean no other country should have nukes?

If this is the case then why india is worried about Pak-Sino Civil Nuclear Agreement.....
As I stated in other post too........India has mind set the she is the Superpower of this Area.

so when u urself r in deep water dont try to comment about Indian safety and implications for world, and by the way every source is neutral so when u plan to strike back bring similar kind of sources rather than ur controversy fed media claims:pakistan:

on the contrary when U.S speaks Burma have nukes or are developing nukes, does it give an impression U.S is speaking as the official representative of Burma
