What's new

India, Russia less useful to each other now. Disagreements will only grow. Future world will be a US-China bipolarity

US helped you even more longer and so so much...look at your country in 1948..you basically got benefitted because of anti-Japanese sentiments prevailing in the West at that time.....

But to "Ditch" is Chinese trademark....Understandable.
You knew nothing about China history. US helped us? You must be joking.

.
What are you talking about? India didn't get things from Russia for free. India also supported Russia during the Cold War.

But the Cold War has been over for a long time and so have alliances based on it. The divergence between India and Russia has been getting wider since Russia's decision to get closer to China, which is India's rival. It puts India in a trick position of trying to balance relations between China/Russia and the US. Trying to please both will bound to lead to failure on both counts.

India has decided to go with US...for the moment.
LOL, you don't know how Soviet helped you guys, or do you?
You think it's all about weapons?
Even weapons, you think you can get weapons from US or western countries as long as you got money? Naive

and by the way, India support Russia is nothing. India is nobody during Cold War actually, played no role.

India is a nobody in geopolitics. Russia wants to get closer to China to provide a formidable counterweight to US imperialism. India is an ant and offers Russia nothing in its struggle against US imperialism. Indian economy is tiny, indian financial capabilities are miniscule, Indian military is weak and unprofessional, India is irrelevant technologically, India is irrelevant in UNSC. Why would Russia want to go with India instead of China? It’s an obvious choice for Russia.

It goes to show how weak India is in all areas compared to China.

The world has been a power struggle between US, Russia and China since 1945. Everyone else is taking the side of these 3 main players.

There's no such thing as a free lunch, especially in international relations. You talk like the Soviet Union gave India charity and expected nothing in return. India not only bought weapons but also gave the Soviet Union diplomatic and political support.

I think you are the one being naive.

Says who? You. Please don't make me laugh.

I wonder if Chinese members listen to what they are saying on this forum.

"India is a nobody in geopolitics" --
"US imperialism" -- This one wins the cake. What is OBOR about? But to spread Chinese imperialism --
"Indian economy is tiny" --
"Indian financial capabilities are minuscule" --
"Indian military is weak and unprofessional" -- the same military that gave China a bloody nose in Ladakh? --
"India is irrelevant technologically" --

The is what happens when your only source is Chinese state-controlled media.

A dumb post from beginning to end.

India is a weak and defeated nation. Look how easy it was for the PLA to dismantle the Indian military. Complete humiliation for India.

Russia choosing China proves my point. India offers absolutely nothing to Russia. Why should Russia choose a weak country over a strong country to ally with in its battle against US imperialism?

India is not a player but a card or chess piece. In chess, India would be just a pond. In this case, India is as useful of a pond as one already have been removed from the board. In another word, India is a weak pond that’s no longer in a game and it’s useless. That is where India stands today.
Indians can be more relevant by splitting up the failed country call India. The pieces in India will be more relevant.

India will never be a main player. It will always be a pawn for one of the main players.

Sad for Russia. Russia helped India for so long, so much. But that's India, understandable.

nobody helps india .
