you must be really smoking something good, if you think the Chinese are going to tell you how to counter the S400. Its a strategic system for them.

Pakistan hates india, we will target it and counter it regardless

China faces a threat from india, arguably China realises india is being set up as a stooge against China

S400 and any other indian system is as much a threat to China as it is Pakistan


China also understands that working with and strengthening Pakistan means india always has a armed gun pointed at its head


So when I say China and Pakistan will work together to counter indias s400 utilising China's own S400 it almost guaranteed

The contract was signed in 2017. The first payment completed in the same year. The delivery date for the first battalion was 2020. However, the agreement was revised in 2018 and the delivery date was updated as 2019. (Rosoboronexport officials stated that) Also, the second system is expected to be delivered in 2020.

There is a process that works much faster than usual because of some special conditions and because Russia uses this issue as a lever against US-Turkey relations.

India, Russia formally ink the $ 5.2 billion deal for S-400 air defence system

NEW DELHI: India and Russia, in a move that could invite sanctions under CAATSA, have formally inked the $ 5.2 billion deal for S-400 system. The air defence system is expected to be delivered by the year 2020.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, who is on a two-day visit to India, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday evening, and was personally welcomed by Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj at the airport.

Putin arrived at the Hyderabad House here on Friday to attend the 19 ..

India will also buy oil from Iran. India is not some banana republic which can be bullied into changing its policies to suit a foreign power's interests.

The problem with oil imports is insurance. If the insurance companies aren't willing to cover the oil being imported from Iran to India, it becomes risky for Indian oil companies. But India and Iran are working to find a way around. Long term solution of course is a submarine pipeline from Iran to India.
