In 1068 CE, Virarajendra Chola launched a naval raid to help Srivijaya reclaim Kedah.[25] Virarajendra reinstated the Kedah king at the request of the Srivijayan Maharaja and Kedah accepted the Srivijayan sovereignty.[1]

So yeah, S400 doesnt make our skies impenetrable but it certanly makes it a near impregnable fortress, attacking which would mean extensive enemy losses, and when they do actually go thru they wont be left with much to take on the fight....

What do you mean ? Srivijaya is a Budhist kingdom not a Hindu one. Hindu kingdom in Indonesia is Majapahit who comes later and conquered all modern Indonesian (except West Java and Papua island), Malaysia, and some part Philippine.

Somebody just mentioned in another thread regarding S400 that they are ready to eat grass but will never compromise their security. Similarly, we are ready to eat a little less, but won't compromise on our security, so we do have some appetite for U.S sanctions.

India is not a penny less economy unlike yours, India is multi trillion $$ economy and have already seen and fend off much tougher crisis in 90's, at this stage if India goes down then so will others.
