We have a very balanced approach to Afghanistan and that is to have them sort out their problems.
We see no Indian involvement in Afghanistan like we see no Moroccan involvement to Somalian pirates issue.

Our POV has been the same throughout. It is India's hypocrisy which forces you ordinary Indian citizens to come here and change the cover story.

As far as training the Afghan forces is concerned. The recent trend of insider attacks on the ANA and the Americans by ISIS only hints how you have been training proxies in Afghanistan. Thus the frame Mother of Terrorists and Terrorism.

There is a growing trend of rape culture as well in Afghanistan. Ofcourse exported by the rape capital of the world India.

The moment you try and somehow play god in any other country apart from your own. You are inviting shizz load of trouble.

In the end Uncle Sam will force you guys or order you guys to have some sort of presence in Afghanistan and your economy will have a thousand cuts all of a sudden.

This is a good thing. They are learning from the mistakes of the USSR and the USA. The Afghans dont want to fight and re-take their country themselves so why should India sacrifice the lives of their soldiers to help them?

Then stop giving false hope to afghans that you are helping them and you are their friends. Making road and few project here and there wouldn't help afghan a bit. If that was the case china and other country is enough to make those project. At the end of the day, you will leave afghan on their own when they need you the most.

Sidd, I can not gurrantee that India will never set a foot there under any circumstances. Perhaps if we see 2000 cuts in our economy by enraging Uncle Sam, we might go and chose 1000 cuts by our presence in Afghanistan.

I hold no moral superiority. You should know very well that our actions are not always meant to reap net profit but sometimes meant to minimize loss.

We are puny little nation, hold no real strength, at best a pawn. Just trying to live our life with some semblance of respect, even if that need hiding embarrassment under plethora of fancy logic and words.
