Honestly they seem to glorify things that are considered taboo in sane societies. The mythology represented in 'Mahabharata' or 'Ramayana' and the way it's glorified in today's times, I simply wonder what is wrong with them? I hope I am not hurting any religious sentiments because those books only depict Indian mythology.

It being a rising power is current. As far as paper tiger are concerned, Pakistan and India would rather fight through proxies, supposedly, then direct conflict. Especially close to election season.

To be completely Unbiased and keeping my personal biases Aside.
India is simply pushing in the wrong direction. It can never become a power with this behavior. Either simply focus on the economy and social welfare keeping a low profile. And start to enforce your foreign policies when you become unstoppable like China.
Or Use the US Approach, Make too many Allies and protect them all with your Stronger Economy and Military so that Alliance become a war machine whom nobody can challenge.
If Indian Government grows strong enough Balls to become humble enough to settle its disputes with its neighbor Pakistan. Resolve the Kashmir Issue instead of behaving like Stubborn Teenage Bully. It can form an undeniable Alliance in the Form of Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Srilanka, Mianmar and so on. With Indian Capital and Investment Leading from the Front and the whole region following it, Multiplying its power. This region will become unstoppable.

But then again as PM Imran Khan Said. "Small people at Big Posts" Who cannot see beyond some stupid ego issues.

Im sorry but Fighting is not the only criteria for a country to become a rising power. The way China behaved maturely and de escalated the condition with India over dokhlam issue is a sign of rising power.If they wanted to fight it out they are definitely more powerful than india but they chose diplomacy.

Bullies can NEVER be rising power!! They are more of a paper tiger
