India Responds To The Gwadar Port Transfer

That is the point that india need coopertion of foreign agencies but china relies on indeginous capbilities. Secondly we should all thank that idiot' funtoosh for railing this thread off topic.

That's a cherry picking bias (a natural human tendency, so nothing personal against you) right there. The thread was derailed in the very first response (the second post of the thread) by a Chinese troll. After that post, what did you expect the rest of the thread to be like?

Anyway I am surprised nobody has pointed out yet that the article itself is a piece of speculative junk. The writer of the article is linking India's decision to open a new missile test range with Pakistan's handover of Gwadar to china, without giving any reason why he believes that the two events are linked. There is no logical connection between the two. What does a new missile TESSTING range have to do with Gwadar port? Does it help to counterbalance Gwadar in any way? Of course not. These are unrelated events, that the author is speculating to be linked. And Chinese and Indians on PDF read it and started chest thumping and singing "my country stronger", with Pakistani members providing choral support.

You lay even a finger on one of our soldiers boy, and you can say goodbye to the Indian civilisation forever.
Xi Jinping is a hardliner from the princeling faction in the CPC. Those guys are not to be messed around with, you will see the difference as the months and years progress. Hu Jintao is from the grassroots, they tend to be more liberal to moderate. Xi Jinping's father is one of the founding fathers of the Communist Party of China. Their fuse is much shorter and a helluva alot more ruthless. You can already see from his words he is much more hawkish than previous Chinese leaders except Mao. Ever since Mao died, China has had liberal and moderate leaders until Xi came along. The Chinese military spending is going to skyrocket under Xi. Boy you got no freaking idea who just came to power in China. Maybe try to learn about Chinese politics and you will realise it.

He is earning his daily bread. Praising the "dear leaders" by name will earn him 50 cents each per "great leader" or "dear leader" named.

Actually, Britain is utterly confused about what they say. Ask a Britisher, they say it's 's'. Ask a Canadian or the Canadian government, they say, "We follow British English, so it's 'z'."

Officially, in Britain you can say it either way, though most natives say 's'.

India might be able to push pakistan around cause of her political and economic clout but not when it comes to china.Indians here claim that they are not going to used By uncle Sam against china don't seems to hold much water cause surely it looks uncle is getting exactly what it wants.

India cant push around Pakistan. Forget it. Its our weak leaders who get pushed around but India still does not get anything from Pakistan it so dearly wants.

What the indians responding to?
You have naval bases on the coast and i cant see the chinese trying a sea invasion of india.

Since the English word is loaned from French and the 's' is also used by the BBC, the right orthography is writing it with 's'.

Point is that india has capability. We might be few years behind china but we will catch up. In 65 years we have come a long way.

Erm, there is a problem with that statement. It is true that in 65 years, India has come a long way, but the problem is in that same 65 years, China came a much longer way and is going faster. Remember, China started with significantly less economy base than India. The gap between China and India is getting bigger, not the other way around.

Agreed. But you didn't have 4 wars and two decade long terrorism. And many things. Running India is not easy. Jut think of diversity in people and then think what India has achieved.

Making a common consensus is the biggest challenge for us. And add to that Democracy. A single person can stop a multi-national company with his/her freedom of speech.

China is also capable of sending probes to moon or mars but it all depends on current priorities. They want to develop their own space station in future so that is their priority.

Are you Chinese or their bed partner? :omghaha:
