With India sitting on top of the largest weapons cache and having a permenant UN security seat, it all will become very difficult. Then India will also be able to sanction Pakistan doing all kinds of international diplomacy against Pakistan. And as we know security councils is not a place where friendships are held up. It is a bargaining place between owners of the world and any give and take save Israel is possible. Russian and China sold Iran to US. This is recent history.
