SL Tamil issue not your business.

Tamilnadu fishermen issue is a created one. My question why Indian coast guard or Indian Navy is not involve in to solve this matter? If they can join SL Navy protect maritime borders they issue can easily solved.

Do you realize that the ONLY way to make sure the Tamil's are given rights in SL is through negotiations - 13th amendment.

You do know that TN fishermen deliberately go to SL waters to fish because they have exhausted the Indian fishing zones? And they are not even apologetic about it. They clearly say that they have to goto SL waters if they are to survive.

Now you want Coastal Guard deployement to protect TN/Indian fisherman who are fishing in SL waters? Be reasonable man.


That dispute is sub-judice. It is a matter that has to be resolved by Courts. GoI cannot favour one state over another.

SL tamil issues , Kachateevu , fisherman man issue (nearly 500 killed no action taken yet), still there is no costal guard deployment in our regions, GOI refused to intertwine in mullaiperiyar and cauvery issue which is livelihood problem for us, you want me say more?.

Regarding SL tamil issue Argentina brought bill in 1980s recently US brought the bill regarding war crimes against SL both countries culturally or historically not related to tamils. But what India did other than helped SL to butcher tamils.

I agree that Tamil Nadu government has a responsibility to Tamils living in Sri Lanka, especially since they have been providing shelter and lively hood to a LOT of refugees from SL.

However those issues are to be resolved by putting pressure on the SL govt by building good relations with them and not by taking a 'supposedly' moral stand. GoI is a facilitator in our federal structure and not an arbitrator.

What continuous anti TN stances has GoI taken?

Not much but I can point out one - the gifting away of Katchatheevu illegally by GOI(illegal as any Indian territory to be given away to another country by India should be ratified by the two houses of parliament which did not happen here) and the subsequent killings of TN fisherman due to this reason and the indifference shown by GOI.(and many Indians themselves who do not get the background behind the TN fishermen getting killed).

While Indian foreign policy is hawkish when it comes to Akshai Chin whose resolution could solve the India-China border issue, the contrast stands out when it comes to Katchatheevu.

That is true. I would blame mainly traitors like Karunanidhi who was the CM at that time and conveniently kept quiet at that time due to threat from IG about taking up corruption issues against him. Similar to what happened with Mayawathi - remember a facebook post.

Delhi high court already suspended Kachathieevu case

Madurai high court refused to order GOI to deploy its tri-forces for protecting TN fisherman.

No other states supporting us , we tried in courts as well as in Parliament no improvement accomplished. So why you people crying when I say we may take china side?. Just think problem is from whose end.
