The point you are totally missing is the business aspect of all this.. and whether you like it or not this is the most important point the world is interested in... they least care about the war between India and Pakistan. The so called 'world' who cares about the nuclear war has been living with Pakistan sponsored terrorism for quite some time..so much so that Pakistan and tye word terrorism are synonymous now... the world is still more worried about Pakistan having nuclear than any doubt India's maturity. Meanwhile they're busy moving business to places like Vietnam where they can get better terms. If you bow and give them the terms they want - you'll stay an important market, otherwise you won't.
It's not personal, they're doing the same with China, Mexico, Turkey, the EU. Business starved countries are happy for the trade, even at crappy terms.

As for Trump only being around for 2 more years - not a chance. He'll walk the next election too. US society is too divided.

I don't know who you are refering to in this post but Pakistan did not have cash for the purchases that's the reason the sale of f16 got cancelled Pakistan wanted US to pay for it but Trump stopped it, and it doesn't have anything to do with India US allowed the sale only if we payed for it, eventually we will get the jets and in the end US will pay for that.

you are confused between India the 'buyer vs India the 'outsourcing market' for US businesses.. for the latter we don't have anything yet so nothing to lose but only to gain... for former, thats where we call the shots. Hope now you understand.

First of all all businesses operated by USA and EU countries abroad have been ordered to return back to parent countries on fears of loss of intellectual property rights and tax frauds. So all the businesses in India do not serve any further advantage for the US...Trump leaving in 2 years will not have any influences in this regards. Internationally India has been awarded the label of State Sponsor of Terrorism. Go and read the Case of Kulbhushan from the ICJ website.
