KARACHI (updated on: December 23, 2009, 12:38 PST): India on Wednesday has refused to receive 100 fishermen to be released today from Pakistani jail, Aaj News reported.
According to the channel, Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, as a humanitarian gesture, ordered to release 100 Indian fishermen who have been in Pakistani custody in Landhi jail, but Indian authorities refused to take back the released fishermen due to which the return of fishermen has been delayed.
Indian authorities are of the view that they are not ready to take back the fishermen at this point of time, hence the process should be postponed. The released fishermen chanted anti-Indian slogans after the authorities refused to receive them. India has once again jeopardized the peace process by giving the recent orders of not receiving the fishermen.
