India refuses to join efforts to recognise self-declared president of Venezuela

I understand your experience. Just because you have kicked them.or are licking China....doesn't mean we will do the same.

This is India we have an Independent Foreign policy and roots of NAM were sown sown in our country.

We signed nuclear deal with US. It suited us...See the Irony, India has started making nuclear business with Aussies, Russians, Canadians.... While Yanks are still waiting.

We are not going to lick or make an enemy... International Politics doesn't work that way....

We deal with Iran and Irael together.... We deal with China and Japan Together, we deal with US and Russia Together.

That's the Precise reason why Modi gets Red Carpet in KSA and clicks Selfies in UAE.

And on an added note irrespective of Mr. MODI, Mr. Singh, BJP or UPA or who is/was in New Delhi. Indian foreign policy has been consistent with respect others over the years. It's really an art in itself. :-)

You will lick because as an American ally you are expected to lick.

The Americans don't give you jobs, trade incentives and weaponry as charity. Those are the rules. Don't play double games.

You don't have your own stance. The Americans do you favors and you are expected to deliver. Now deliver. You have played this duplicitous game of appeasment for too long. You have zero loyalty to your allies. You pick and choose to your liking. That is not how a true ally behaves. A true ally stands shoulder to shoulder when it matters most. You clearly lack the loyalty to do so.

This is simply good foriegn policy... You may call it national interest...
But Coming from a country where people fight other countries war and cause billions of damage to itself, it's tough for you to understand

Excellent decision keeping in mind, all-weather friend on one side and big neighbor on other side both supporting Venezuela.
