Lol, the list only includes 25 countries! India is the only S.Asian country on the list and when the majority of the list includes the world's richest nations of course India is going to feature lowly.

How is that a big issue? We do look after our Parents not abandon them in Old age Homes as in West.Infact,Our Elders control our family and i am proud of that.
Are you Ashamed?that you let your elders do the decision Making? Pick one side!

Do realise,we adore our elders and their advice and we are bound to their suggestion.
We are not the Wild West,where we throw away all our respect for our elders .Because we know they think,what is best for us.
So yeah Pensions? Who cares?our Parents stay with us till we die. I am happy a elder is giving advice to us after their lifelong experience.

Tat asthu, bhai mere,We always want to remain as the bottom of this list, because we respect our Parents and they live in our House.
They are the Decision makers in our house,we always listen to their command or advice.
The people that disrespect their own Elders advice will perish.

You see its the Indian culture. When I wanted money, I looked at my Dad. And now my Dad will look at me for money.
It is called a relationship. Son and Father relationship.

Well in other countries, where they dont have this type of bonding, people look at govt to support them.

BhaiI,Your parents take care of you as a kid, it is your DUTY to take care of them when you are able in youth.That is our rule and Tradition.
Why should we adopt these Western Methods of sending Parents to foster homes?They forsaked their parents for money, doesn't ,mean we do..
We are not going to send our Parents and Elders to Retirement homes or Old age homes.

You know what excites them most?
Playing with their grandchildren or great grand Children, while you come occasionally
