Knowing that the "Chicken Neck Corridor" is potential weakness, then India should begin building tunnels underground and sign a pact with Bangladesh under the favorable Hasina that allows India to enter Bangladesh territory to reach the Northeast in case the Indian position in Siliguri is overtaken or lost. (Bangladesh territory may need roads and infrastructure built to accommodate such convoys and supplies)
