India presses on with Myanmar defence supplies in show of support

Burma is India's pivot to India's look east policy...so Burma very important for India. We would like Burma to take back Rohinyga Muslims, but India will never interfere in Burma's internal affairs.

Do you think Burmese will prefer you over the Chinese? Look east policy mean you have to sell weapons to murderers? and look at the timing, wow!

India has been the best when it comes to interfering to neighboring country's internal affairs. Dont try to act so innocent Sir!

There is nothing called preference. India - Burma ties are historic and cultural ties. Burma was once part of India. Both India and China are investing in Burma. They have their own objective and we have own.

.
Bangladesh need to step up military co-operation with China and Pakistan. We also need a great expansion of our military. We also need to build indigenous defence industry with the help of China and other friendly countries. It is a great sin for us to remain militarily weak.

Yeah Bro! We are alone. In case of military power we need to be something like Singapore or Israel now. We dont have any other choice and It is better understood in the Military HQ. This is one good thing that derived from this refugee situation.

Yes. But India is the most trusted friend of Myanmar.

Your comments alone make your country look weak. You guys should stop having this emotional drama like you do during cricket matches.

First of all India has big interests in Myanmar, it's a necessary evil, even if we are no fan of Myanmar, who in the past have evicted the Indian origin people who were living there for hundreds of years.

And even if we support BD on the issue, tell us what do we gain. Do you think those anti Indian people will become pro India? We gain nothing, we don't want to play a zero sum game. Or a game which we will lose.

We don't need BD to dictate our foreign policy with MM. By that, I mean you can't ask us to stop this and that. We can help provide support to Rohingya who are fleeing. Not to pressure MM into doing something. That kind of things ended with LTTE.

Yes. But India is the most trusted friend of Myanmar.
That's why they buy most of their military equipment from tanks to the hand guns from China.

Also, that's why their military is good friend of China. Also, China has an oil pipeline which connects the Rakhine state. Also that may be why China is developing ports in Myanmar. I can go on and on.

Please do some background check before you spin such BS.

We may not get Chinese help during our clash with burma, but still China is our biggest friend.China will certainly love to make Bangladesh a strong country that can stand up to the bullying of India. As India is our biggest threat, so China is our biggest ally.Just because China didn't supported us in this Rohingya crisis, some Bangladeshis are having a doubt about China or talking negative. This is not right, we should not forget the India factor. To counter Indian design on Bangladesh, China is our greatest ally.If we become like another Pakistan like country for China than they will certainly support us over two headed snake that is burma.

:D @Nilgiri You gotta give it to this guy. Doyalbaba you should join BD cricket team, you are good spin master.

No amount of weapon or military power can do anything if political power which controls military, is sold out. Current situation is perfect example how indian stooge awami regime put Bangladesh military in the "dog house".

Your type of people who has no clue keep harping on military power when infact your hand is tied by someone else.

.
If supporting Myanmar means supporting genocide then India, China and Russia all supports them. Only fools will think that India or any country will ditch Its interests in Myanmar for Rohingyas.
that's where the world sold it's humanity.... national fucking interest.

You need to make background check first.
India had tried to build a 6900 km gas pipeline from Myanmar through Bangladesh even before the Sino-Myanmar gas pipeline was started.
But the project had to postpone due to the greedy demands from BD side.
Now MM and India are thinking of building a pipeline bypassing Bangladesh.
Myanmar and India is also developing Kaledan project in Rakhine.

For the weapons, India doesn't produce tanks, fighter aircrafts, heavy artillery etc... that's why MM bought Chinese military hardware.
Another important thing is that Indian products are more expensive than those of Chineses made.
However India became main supplier to MM navy since 2010s. MM navy acquired simulators, naval guns, radars and electronics, sonar, torpedos etc... from India.
MM navy and IN are also closely cooperating in ship building. Currently IN is giving assistance in establishing submarine arms and naval aviation of MN.
MM is also in the process of negotiation with Russia to buy Kilo submarines.
After receiving Kilos from Russia, MN will go to IN for repair and maintenance just like MiG 29, Mi 35 and Mi 17.
Currently IAF is giving assistane to MAF for repair and maintenance of MiG 29 Mi 35 and Mi 17.
Myanmar also bought thousands of TATA military vehicles and even set up a TATA assembly line in central Myanmar.
Myanmar bought tanks from China but they send their tank crews to India for training.
These are just some examples of MM-Indo military to military relationship.

Well done to India.
Burma is fighting the jihadis and exterminating them.

more power to them and India should give anything Burma needs to exterminate these vermin.
Truth about Rohigyas is that they waged Jihad against Buddhists and got badly spanked. Now they are crying over the fact they couldn't genocide Burma Buddhists like they did to everyone else where in the world.

As Indian and one affected by Islamic Jihad, I won't want these vermin anywhere near me. These people need to learn to co-exist.
NO, it's not anyone fault but the Rohigyas that they are in this position. You tried to subdue and exterminate peaceful people and they turned around and shived u.

No pity for people who are jihadis. Only solution is extermination. Great going Burma. Well done.

Time to gift Myanmar few armed helos, we will be donating away our Mi-24/35s anyway. Half goes to Afghanistan, other half goes to Myanmar.
